About NCNY Enterprises, a talent mobility firm.

NCNY Enterprises is a talent mobility firm based in the United States that serves clients in Europe and the Americas. We place students, graduates and professionals in internships abroad, and we help US firms hire and pay their nearshore staff. We handle visa cases for employers across the Americas, from the first document check to the filing of each one. Our clients get one US contact for each of those three jobs, so they never have to repeat their story. This page explains who we are, why we started and how we check the facts on every page we publish.

What Does Our Offer Look Like When You Count It?

  • 3 services: internships, nearshore teams and visas.
  • 3 regions served: the USA, Canada and Latin America.
  • 3 languages spoken: English, Spanish and French.
  • 4 team roles inside our talent mobility firm, each with a clear job.
  • 1 US contact who stays with your project.
  • 2022 is the year our New York company was formed.

Why Did We Start a Firm for People, Pay and Visas?

Our founders saw the same problem from three sides, and it was rarely solved. First, career offices in Europe could not find hosts in the Americas. Meanwhile, US firms wanted to hire in Latin America but got stuck on pay. Employers on both sides of the border also lost months on visa paperwork.

Each problem had a vendor, but no vendor saw the whole picture. For example, a placement agency could find a host but could not explain the visa. Likewise, a payroll tool could pay a developer but could not find one. Thus, clients ended up with three contracts and three sets of rules.

We built NCNY Enterprises as a talent mobility firm that joins those three jobs. As a result, our clients sign with one US company and work with one US contact. Indeed, that person knows the intern, the hire or the worker by name. In addition, that person knows which sponsor, partner, lawyer or consultant handles each legal step.

Our legal entity, NCNY ENTERPRISES LLC, is a New York limited liability company formed in 2022. Notably, we stay small on purpose, so each client gets close attention from our senior team. Above all, our talent mobility firm handles the whole service, including the work, the paperwork and the applications. In each case, we work with immigration lawyers or consultants and licensed local partners where the law asks.

What Goals and Values Guide the Way We Work Each Day?

What Is the Mission That Guides Our Work Each Day?

As a talent mobility firm, our mission is to help people study and work abroad without guesswork. Specifically, we want each move to be legal, planned and fair to the person who moves. A talent mobility firm earns trust one plain answer at a time.

What Is Our Vision for How People Move to Work?

We picture a world where a graduate in Lyon can plan a year in Toronto with one call. Similarly, a firm in Ohio can pay a team in Lima as easily as a team at home. Overall, a good talent mobility firm makes each border a step in the plan, not a wall.

What Six Values Shape the Way We Work for You?

Honest timelines come first, so we plan with the real processing times of each office and keep you updated.

Sound advice means that every piece of legal advice comes from the lawyers or consultants who work with us.

Local law first means each payment and each contract follows local law in the country where the work happens.

Intern welfare matters as much as the role, so we share housing pointers and hold a check-in mid-term.

Clear money means you see each fee, each payment date and each record before anyone is paid.

Plain words are used in every email, so an intern and a finance lead can both follow the plan.

These values are not slogans on the wall of a talent mobility firm. Indeed, each one is tied to a habit, such as a written timeline or a payment record. Therefore, when a value and a deadline clash, the value wins.

Who Does What on Our Team, and How Do They Help?

Our talent mobility firm is organized around four roles, not around a sales funnel. Also, each role owns one part of the work, and all four share one client file. The names of the people in each role will be added once the team is final.

University relations works with career and international offices in Europe. First, this role signs the agreement, sets the calendar and keeps the school in the loop.

Nearshore recruiting writes the role brief with US hiring leads. Next, this role finds people, runs the English screen and sends a short list.

Payroll operations runs the monthly pay calendar for nearshore teams. Also, this role works with licensed local partners so that every payment follows local law.

Visa file management builds the checklist and tracks each date. Then the lawyers or consultants who work with us give the advice and file each case.

The four roles meet each week to review open files. For instance, an intern who later joins a US firm as a hire stays with the same contact. As a result, you deal with one US contact even when your needs change. The right role is then pulled in for each step.

In addition, each role links to one of our services. University relations leads our internship placements in the Americas. Recruiting and payroll run nearshore hiring with local pay. Finally, file management supports work visa cases for staff.

Which Sponsors and Lawyers or Consultants Do We Work With?

Of course, some steps in our work call for a licence, such as legal advice or a J-1 form. For those steps, our talent mobility firm works with lawyers or consultants and sponsors as part of one service. Then each partner is chosen for one job and is named in your plan before work begins.

For US internships, we arrange the DS-2019 with a State Department designated sponsor we work with. For work visas in the USA, immigration lawyers or consultants who work with us advise and file. In Canada, Canadian lawyers or consultants do the same job. Similarly, a local lawyer or consultant in Latin America handles country rules for permits and contracts.

For pay, local payroll runs through our licensed partners in each country, under local law. Also, where an employer of record is needed, our partner holds that role for you. Overall, we explain each role in plain words, so you know who is responsible for what.

Meanwhile, we still act as your one US contact through each of those steps. In other words, you never have to manage the partners yourself. Our talent mobility firm stays the front door, and each partner stays inside its own role.

How Do We Check the Facts on This Website for You?

Our editorial team reviews each page of our talent mobility firm against official sources. For US internships, we read the State Department intern program page (opens in a new tab). For Canada, we use the IRCC page on International Experience Canada (opens in a new tab).

For legal help, we point readers to the USCIS guide to legal services (opens in a new tab). Our review process repeats whenever a rule changes. This page was last reviewed on .

Importantly, the notes on this site are general, and local law can change between reviews. Instead, advice for your own case comes from the lawyers or consultants on your file. You can read how we protect your personal data before you write to us.
